The Safe Coalition, a group of animal welfare agencies working together to help Nashville’s pets, grew out of the Mayor's Ad Hoc Animal Welfare Advisory committee.
Habitat For Paws is a grant recipient. In November 2015, MACC's Administrative Coordinator, Jessica Hoffman and Lead Field Officer Cory Wells initiated a partnership with HFP. Together MACC and HFP are keeping dogs in their homes and out of shelters. Priority is spay and neuter of every dog to qualify for HFP services.
The coalition's mission is to build and sustain a community that saves all healthy and treatable cats and dogs in Nashville and Davidson County, TN. The group is working to achieve a 90% or higher save rate for our community by the end of 2018.
